How we collect, use, and protect personal information. Effective July 8, 2026. Last updated July 8, 2026.
Red Water LLC, doing business as Redwater Revenue ("Redwater," "we," "us," or "our") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle personal information when you visit redwaterrev.com (the "Site"), contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, book a call, or otherwise interact with us.
Two different roles. Redwater plays two roles with respect to personal information:
Information you provide directly:
Information collected automatically:
Analytics. We use two analytics tools to understand how the Site is used:
We do not use advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) to build advertising audiences.
Cookies. Plausible is cookieless. Microsoft Clarity sets cookies to measure and replay site usage. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and blocking them will not affect your ability to use the Site.
Sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, health, biometric, or financial account data) through the Site.
Children. The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use personal information to respond to inquiries and provide, operate, and improve our services; send our newsletter and business communications you request; schedule and conduct calls and consultations; send administrative, transactional, and billing communications; maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the Site; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for our own cross context behavioral advertising. Some analytics providers we use (such as Microsoft Clarity) may process usage data for their own purposes as described in the Analytics section above; you can limit this through your browser cookie controls.
We share personal information only with service providers who process data on our behalf to run our business (for example, hosting, database, email, scheduling, and payment providers); professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) as needed; legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety; and in a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy. A current list of our service providers is at redwaterrev.com/subprocessors. Each is bound by contract to use the data only to provide services to us.
For our own website and business operations, we use, among others: Supabase (database and storage for form submissions), ConvertKit (newsletter email), Google (calendar scheduling and workspace tools), Plausible Analytics (privacy friendly, cookieless site analytics), Vercel (website hosting), and payment and email providers for client billing. Our full, current list, including the vendors that power the software we build for clients, is at redwaterrev.com/subprocessors.
Some of the software and automations we build for clients use third party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to process data on the client's behalf, for example to draft or summarize documents. When we use these providers, they act as our service providers, under their business and API terms they do not train their models on this data, and they are bound by data processing agreements. AI processing of a client's end customer data is disclosed to those end customers by the client and governed by our Data Processing Addendum, not by this Site Policy. For our own Site, we do not feed your contact form or newsletter data into AI systems for any purpose other than delivering the service you requested.
Some services we operate, including tools we build and run for our clients, send text messages through providers such as Twilio. This section describes how mobile numbers and SMS consent are handled.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights (to know, delete, correct, port your data, and to appeal a denial). Most US state privacy laws currently apply to larger businesses, and Redwater is generally below those thresholds, but we honor the access, correction, and deletion requests described above regardless. To make a request, contact jack@redwaterrev.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to respond to you, deliver and bill for services, meet legal and tax obligations, and maintain business records, and then delete or de identify it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by Louisiana law and any other applicable law.
Redwater operates in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, you understand your information will be processed in the US.
The Site may link to third party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies separately.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
